من فضل سورتي الفلق والناس أنه لا توجد مثلهن في القرآن ولا في غيره من الكتب السماوية كالتوراة والإنجيل والزبور كما قال ﷺ ما أنزل في التوراة ولا في الزبور ولا في الإنجيل ولا في الفرقان مثلهن.
ورد في فضل سورتي الفلق والناس أنهما أحب إلى الله تعالى كما قال النبي ﷺ لعقبة: يا عقبة اقرأ بقل أعوذ بربّ الفلق وقل أعوذ بربّ الناس فإنّك لن تقرأ سورة أحبّ إلى اللّه وأبلغ منهما.
